Stress happens all around you everyday, good stress and bad stress, but high amounts of stress can cause you to have high blood pressure. Everyone has different stress triggers, however there are ways you can avoid stress in order to lower your blood pressure.

Work stress can be caused by being unhappy with your job, work overload, work deadlines that have to be met, the number of hours you work, the conditions of your job, and work management. 2.   The next biggest stressors for people are the common stresses of everyday life. 3.   There are some physical signs that you should be aware of that indicate you are under a lot of stress, such as headaches, fatigue, not being able to sleep, difficulty concentrating, and being very irritable. If you happen to be under a lot of stress for a long period of time, some of the indications could be depression, high blood pressure, weight gain or loss, heart disease, or heart attack.

 

4.   There are ways you can avoid being under stress in order to keep your blood pressure in normal range. For instance, if you find yourself becoming overwhelmed at work or at home and not enough time in the day, maybe creating a schedule and writing everything down that you need to do in order of importance, could help you eliminate your work overload.

5.   Working out is a good stress relief for a lot of people. Spending time at the gym gives you and your mind time to unwind. In addition to working out, watching what you eat can help eliminate your stress level. This is because certain foods might make you feel sluggish, leading you to feel fatigued, which can then lead to not being able to get things accomplished, leaving you stressed out.

 

6.   An easy way to help lower your stress and blood pressure levels is to simply relax. Take some time out of your day to enjoy what it is that makes you feel happy and relaxed.
